Our School Day

New Close is open for a total of 32.5 hours per week (including breaks).

Gates open at 8:45am 

Morning Session 

8:45am - 12.15pm 

Break 

10:30am - 10:45am 

Lunch

12.15pm- 1pm

Afternoon Session 

1pm - 3:15pm

There is a 15 minute break for the Key Stage One and Reception children during the afternoon.

Other than break times, five minutes registration and an Assembly of fifteen minutes every day, all of the above is teaching time.
