Our School Day

New Close is open for a total of 30.42 hours per week (including breaks).

Gates open at 8:50am 

Morning Session 

8:55am - 12.15pm (KS2)
8:55am - 12pm (KS1 and FS2) 

Break 

10:30am - 10:45am 

Afternoon Session 

1pm - 3:00pm (KS2)
12.45pm - 3:00pm (KS1 and FS2) 

There is a 15 minute break for the Key Stage One and Reception children during the afternoon.

Other than break times, five minutes registration and an Assembly of fifteen minutes three times a week, all of the above is teaching time.
